Lawson Group Working with Food Cycle to Support Local Communities This Christmas
Lawson Group is proud to announce a new partnership with Food Cycle, a nationwide charity that works to tackle food poverty and loneliness across the UK. This collaboration will see Lawson Group actively involved in a range of community-based activities leading up to Christmas, specifically supporting the local areas of Bath, Swindon, and Bristol.
Our Commitment to Climate Action
Food Cycle operates by taking surplus food that would otherwise go to waste and transforming it into nutritious, three-course meals for those who need them. Their work helps address the growing issue of food insecurity, offering not just food but also a sense of community for individuals who might be facing isolation, particularly during the festive season.
Lawson Group’s Commitment to Giving Back
Through this partnership, Lawson Group is expanding its role in local community engagement, providing volunteer support at Food Cycle’s local meal services and participating in food drives to ensure a steady supply of surplus ingredients. In addition, our team will be offering hands-on assistance in various activities, from preparing and serving meals to connecting with those attending the events.
As we lead up to Christmas, our joint efforts aim to provide much-needed support and warmth to people in Bath, Swindon, and Bristol, where Food Cycle already has an established presence.
How You Can Help
If you’re looking for ways to contribute during the holiday season, both Lawson Group and Food Cycle welcome volunteers. Whether it’s donating time, surplus food, or funds, every bit of support goes a long way toward making sure everyone in our communities has a meal and someone to share it with during this special time of year.
Together, Lawson Group and Food Cycle are committed to making a positive impact, ensuring that nobody is left behind this Christmas.
